Snando Old Man Edition Badge — 3D Emblem for Truck, SUV & Car
A 3D emblem with raised letters and a chrome-look finish over black, 8 cm × 3 cm (3.1 in × 1.2 in), with 3M adhesive backing already on it. Wipe the panel, peel, press. It sits next to the factory badge and looks like it came with the car.
Made for the dad, husband or grandpa whose truck has “350000 miles and says just broke in” — and for the guy who'd rather put it on his own truck first.
- ✓Reads as a real trim badge — raised 3D letters, black face, chrome-look edge. In reviews of this badge type, “people swear it's from the factory”.
- ✓Peel and press — the 3M adhesive backing is already on it. Alcohol wipe, 30 seconds of pressure, done.
- ✓Stays on through the car wash — owners report it “even through a car wash” and through “the heat of Texas”, as long as the panel was clean first.
- ✓Small on purpose — 8 × 3 cm, sized to sit beside the factory badge, not over it. “Sometimes it's better to be subtle than in your face.”
- ✓Lightweight ABS, not metal — about 10 grams. You read it here, not on the truck.

Every Truck Has A Badge That Lies. This Is The One That Tells The Truth.
XLT. Limited. Sport. Eddie Bauer. Every truck already wears a badge the factory chose to sell it. One customer said it plainly: “instead of the eddie bauer edition we have the very special old man edition”.
There are two ways to put that joke on a truck and both are wrong. A vinyl sticker reads as a bumper sticker and lifts at the corners after a wash. A generic “Limited Edition” badge looks the part but says nothing — limited edition of what?
This one is shaped, sized and finished like a trim badge, says the one true thing about the truck, and is honest about itself too: it's a 10-gram ABS badge with a 3M back, not cast metal. Put it on ironically. That's the whole point.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
One Amazon review says it all: “Got these for dads 03 ford ranger that he wont part part with, 350000 miles and says just broke in !” You know that truck. You know that dad. Every gift you've given him is in a drawer.
This one goes on the truck. It sits next to the factory badge and looks like it came with the car — so you can put it on quietly and “see how long it takes for him to notice”. One customer's dad: “has been a few weeks he still hasn't seen it”.
And once he's seen it, it keeps paying out. “I can see them laugh in my rear view as they read it.” “It gets a ton of laughs and compliments from people in parking lots.” He gets to be the guy with the honest badge.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
- 8 cm × 3 cm × 0.4 cm (3.1 in × 1.2 in × 0.16 in), about 10 g
- ABS/PVC shell, raised 3D letters — plastic, not metal
- Black face with chrome-look lettering and edge
- 3M adhesive backing, pre-applied — one-shot bond
- Fits any flat or gently curved painted panel: fender, door, tailgate, hatch, dash
- Not for sharp curves or textured plastic trim — it's stiff and “will not tolerate bends”
- Sold as 1, 2 or 4 badges · each badge is one complete “OLD MAN EDITION” emblem
HOW TO APPLY
- Clean the spot with an alcohol wipe. Not detergent — rubbing alcohol. This is the step that decides whether it stays on. Nearly every “it fell off” review skipped it.
- Peel the 3M backing. Hold the badge by the edges. Line it up once — “you really only get one chance to stick it down right.”
- Press for 30 seconds. Firm thumb pressure across the whole badge, especially the ends.
- Wait 24 hours before the first car wash. Let the adhesive cure. After that, wash it like the rest of the truck.
GUARANTEE & RETURNS
60-Day Stick-It Guarantee. Drive with it for 60 days, car washes included. If it peels, fades, or it just didn't land, one email and you're refunded in full — and you keep the badge. Nothing to ship back.
An honest note before you buy: the bad reviews on this badge type are about adhesive, and most of those skipped the alcohol wipe or washed the truck the same day. If you ever want it off: warm it with a hair dryer, slide dental floss behind it, and lift any leftover adhesive with Goo Gone on a microfiber cloth.
Watch it go on a real truck

WHY WE MADE THIS
We read one review and saw our own dads in it.
We didn't start with a truck. We started with a review: “Got these for dads 03 ford ranger that he wont part part with, 350000 miles and says just broke in !” Everyone at Snando read that and thought of the same man — the one who's had the same truck since you were in a car seat, who says the engine's just getting loosened up, who will never, ever trade it in.
He is impossible to buy for. He doesn't want a tie and he doesn't want a gadget. What he wants is for someone to notice the truck. So the search was for the one gift that goes on the truck — which meant reading every review out there: the ones that said “he still hasn't seen it” and the ones that said “It is plastics, not metal”.
Both are true, and both are on this page. It's a 10-gram ABS badge with a 3M back. It looks like a factory badge from three feet away. And when he finally spots it, you get the laugh you were after. That's the whole product.

3 Reasons He Won't Peel It Off
It Reads As A Real Trim Badge
Raised letters, black face, chrome-look edge — the same grammar as the XLT badge next to it. Owners write that it “looks like it came with the car” and “people swear it's from the factory”. That's what makes the joke land instead of looking tacky.
It Is Small On Purpose
8 cm × 3 cm — a trim badge, not a bumper sticker. Big enough to read from the car behind, small enough that he walks past it for weeks. “Sometimes it's better to be subtle than in your face.”
It Stays Through The Car Wash
3M adhesive backing, already applied. Clean the panel with alcohol, press 30 seconds, wait a day. Owners report it holding “even through a car wash” and through “the heat of Texas”. Skip the wipe and it won't — that's spelled out below too.

Three parts, and we're honest about all three
It is a plastic badge with a strong back and a good face. Here is exactly what that means.

ABS Shell With Raised Letters
- Molded ABS/PVC — not cast metal
- Raised 3D letters, black face, chrome-look edge
- About 10 g — light enough that the adhesive carries it
Why it's said out loud:
A review of this badge type says: “The appearance is metal but it's actually plastic.” True. Better you read it here than discover it on the truck.

3M Adhesive Backing
- Foam tape, pre-applied across the back
- One-shot bond — line it up once
- Holds through car washes when the panel was cleaned first
Why it matters:
Most bad reviews of this badge type are about the adhesive, and most of those skipped the alcohol wipe. Clean panel, 30 seconds of pressure, 24 hours before the first wash.

Weather-Facing Finish
- Chrome-look lettering over a black face
- Reported through “the heat of Texas” and “chilly winters”
- Longest report found: 6 months on the car
Honest limit:
Nobody has posted a two-year photo yet, so there is no two-year promise here. Owners report months on the car, through car washes — that is the claim, and the guarantee covers your first 60 days.
FOUR STEPS, AND THE FIRST ONE DECIDES IF IT STAYS:
Not enough of these sold yet to have Snando reviews.
Nothing below is a Snando review. Every quote is copied word for word from public Amazon and AliExpress reviews of this badge type (other sellers' versions of the same emblem), with the source shown. The 1- and 2-star ones are in on purpose — they're about adhesive and size, and both are answered on this page for you. Yours goes here the first time you have something to say.
Got these for dads 03 ford ranger that he wont part part with, 350000 miles and says just broke in !
Once I put it on my car, looks like it came with the car. It’s perfect
They have been through the heat of Texas (on a black truck), and through chilly winters as well as carwashes. They stay where they got put.
I get a lot of compliments when people see it, and I can see them laugh in my rear view as they read it.
Put it on my dads nissan has been a few weeks he still hasn't seen it. Product is good
I love it. I was sneaky and put it on the back of my neighbors car and he still has not noticed it . So now he's driving around in his old man edition car
I fooled the salesman, who has been with Toyota for 10 years!
When you reach a certain age, you can do one of two things. Deny it or embrace it. This is a fun way to embrace it, but in a fairly low key way.
These were great to add on to my truck. Makes people laugh
It is plastics, not metal
It looks nice however the adhesive is not very strong. One fell off my truck completely after 2 days and the other was starting to come loose on the ends so I removed it.
These are quite a bit smaller than I anticipated. They’re about 1/2 inch in height so they look noticeably small compared to either of my cars rear badging.
The emblems stick on very well, even through a car wash. Husband loves the emblem!
My daughter ordered this for me about 6 months ago and it's still on the car and hasnt come off.
Oem appearance in a great gag gift form.
It makes a fantastic, lighthearted gift for any dad who takes pride in his truck. It gets a ton of laughs and compliments from people in parking lots.
