A normal beanie has extra fabric at the back that has to go somewhere. It slouches, it bunches, and it makes the back of your head look like a bag.
This one doesn't have that fabric. The docker beanie is knitted short on purpose — it stops at the top of the ears and sits flat against the skull the whole way round. Nothing to adjust, nothing hanging behind you.
Chunky knit, thick cuff
The rib is knitted heavy, with visible vertical lines running up from the cuff, and the cuff itself is folded double so it holds its shape instead of curling. Six seams spiral to a point at the crown, which is what gives the top its clean dome rather than a flat cap of fabric.
